These exquisite and unique salt and pepper grinders were designed artist Kelly Robinson of the Nuxalk and Nuu-chah-nulth nations. The recycled glass sleeves features his beautiful Raven Transforming panel design. The ceramic grinding mechanism combined with the stainless steel post and cap makes these grinders suitable for salt, pepper or herbs. Kitchen tested by a Marriott Executive Chef, these grinders will provide long lasting enjoyment.

Description

We originally designed this Welcoming Gift specifically for Realtors but it is a wonderful gift for a friend, colleague or family member that has moved into a new home.

It is based on the traditional welcoming gift of Bread & Salt.  The tradition was to leave some bread and salt in the doorway of a new home to ensure that they would never be hungry and that their life was full of flavour.

We have spiced up the tradition by adding Kampot Pepper – the best pepper in the world. What is unique about this gift is that the retail portion (50%) goes to Greater Vancouver Food Bank while helping to build a Fair Trade distribution network for small Cambodian pepper farmers whose thousand year old tradition was virtually destroyed during the Cambodian Genocide and subsequent civil war.
